Google Mock Up - Contents Page

First Draft:

This is the first draft of my Google Mock Up - Contents Page. There were a few faults with this draft hence why I decided to redo it. When I came to finishing the page I found that I had 2 blank spaces (middle bottom and top right) which I had nothing to put in. To resolve this problem I decided I would move the white rectangle containing the feature stories up, allowing me to increase the size of the yellow rectangle at the bottom. Consequently I would be able to fit more articles/plugs into my page.
When I improve the contents page I will include a feature which informs the reader about how to subscribe to 'Live'. This is a common feature of most magazines and would hopefully prompt more people to subscribe to the magazine.
Also, I will remove the 'p' before the page numbers because this is unnecessary and does not appear in magazines. Due to the aim of my magazine being to look realistic, I will remove the p's in order to add to the sense of verisimilitude.
When doing my 2nd draft I will include more feature stories in my contents page. A typical pop music magazine will feature lots of articles and will have a very busy look to it; I aim to recreate this by having as many features/stories as possible.

Second Draft:

Improvements:
I moved the social media feature from the front cover to the contents page because I thought it would be more appropriate here (top of page)

Third Draft:
