Survey Questions and Results

In order to design my own reader profile, I first had to find out what the readers of a pop magazine wanted. I did this by creating a questionnaire on Survey Monkey featuring 10 questions (3 Demograohic and Psychographic) and then asked people to complete it.

My results inform me that the colours that are mostly associated with a pop magazine are pink, purple, yellow and light blue. This will help me decide on the colour scheme of the magazine. I will use bright, typically happy colours in order to appeal to the target audience of young teenage girls.

These results show that the main hobbies of pop music listeners are fashion, make-up, celebrity culture and listening to music (mainly pop). These will impact my decision on what types of articles to include in my magazine.
